Terms and Conditions of Use

This document establishes the Terms and Conditions of Use of the platform Geoprocesamiento Online, operated in Colombia, to provide geospatial analysis and processing services online.
1. User Acceptance
By accessing or using this website, the user fully and unreservedly accepts these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the Personal Data Processing Policy. If you do not agree with any of these documents, you must refrain from using the site and its tools.
2. Services Offered
Geoprocesamiento Online offers online tools for geospatial analysis and processing: free basic tools for one-off use (buffer, clip, union, coordinate and datum conversion, area and distance calculation, among others), professional tools under the credit system, and the GIS Workspace — a browser-based map editor with layers, digitizing, an artificial intelligence assistant, and result export. Access to Pro tools and certain Workspace features requires credits or an active subscription.
3. User Registration
Registration on the site is necessary to access certain services. The user undertakes to provide truthful and updated information. The use of the account is personal and non-transferable.
4. Credits
Purchased credits allow the use of Pro tools. Once consumed, the user must purchase more in order to continue using those services. Used credits are non-refundable, and credits are not transferable between accounts.
In accordance with Article 47 of Colombian Law 1480 of 2011 (right of withdrawal), if you purchased a credit package and have not used any of it, you may request a full refund within five (5) business days of the purchase by writing to our contact email. This right does not apply to credits already used, since the corresponding service has already been rendered.

The user agrees to use the site lawfully and ethically, refraining from: impersonating another person; attempting to compromise the site's security or access other users' data; using bots, scraping, or other unauthorized automated means to overload the service; and uploading files with illegal content or content that infringes third-party rights. The user is responsible for the accuracy of the data they submit and for the use they make of the results generated by the tools.
7. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the service will be free of interruptions or errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the service, including loss of data or geospatial analysis results. Our total liability to the user, in any case, is limited to the amount actually paid by the user in the last six (6) months.
This limitation does not exclude rights that are non-waivable under the consumer protection law applicable in your country of residence.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, source code, interface and generated documentation are property of Geoprocesamiento Online. Reproduction is prohibited without express authorization.
9. Suspension or Cancellation of Accounts
Geoprocesamiento Online reserves the right to suspend temporarily or permanently an account if it detects improper use, impersonation, violations of the terms or unauthorized automated use.
10. Modifications
These terms may be modified at any time. Changes will be communicated to registered users by email or notice on the website.
11. Applicable Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, the country from which the service is operated. Any dispute will be resolved by the ordinary Colombian jurisdiction.
Geoprocesamiento Online is an international service. If you reside in the European Union, California, or another jurisdiction with specific consumer or personal data protections, any such protections that are mandatory (non-waivable) continue to apply alongside these terms.
